Coliving Insights has launched its newest publication: ‘Invest, Develop, Operate & Scale’!
It has been one year since we launched our first publication and we have been able to deliver quarterly insights since. This edition is a milestone for us in terms of our own growth as a leading think tank and research lab in the coliving sector, but also for the coliving sector as a whole. Despite a year of uncertainty and instability, we have grown alongside the coliving sector to new heights.
Amongst this growth is our latest publication: 160+ pages of insights from 25+ contributors that explore the coliving investment, development, operations and expansion phases to help you better understand how you and the coliving sector can thrive.
The publication can be downloaded by clicking here.
Our contributors for this edition have experience investing in, designing, operating and scaling coliving companies. Some have even taken these steps from start-to-finish: for example, Christopher Bledsoe, co-founder of Ollie, which has recently been acquired by Starcity. Alongside Christopher we have contributions from a few other more institutional players such as Cushman & Wakefield, DTZ Investors, Nexity and Keys Asset Management, who take us through their investment and development criteria. We also invited the likes of Starcity, MyTown, NREP, Noiascape, Samesame and Scott Baker Properties to share their operational best practices in regards to designing, developing and operating coliving communities that flourish. Finally, this edition includes contributions from a range of service providers, such as SALTO Systems, Wifirst, appWash, Spatial Experience, Conscious Coliving and Art of Co, to share how best to integrate technology, community experience strategies and design innovations into your shared living developments and operations.
“We believe in the potential of coliving and we want to help it scale and thrive. Luckily we are not alone, and the contributors, partners and sponsors of this edition aim to support the coliving industry in achieving maturity, market consolidation and institutionalisation.” - Bart Sasim, Co-Founder at Coliving Insights
We cannot give any exact projections as to where the coliving market will go - especially after a year where we have been rattled from any sense of certainty and predictability. But we know for sure coliving is here to stay, and we are here to stay with it. With four more publications in the pipeline, the first Coliving Awards ceremony and the launch of a few more exciting initiatives in 2021, we are looking forward to supporting this sector scale into its full potential!
