Over the past 18 months, The Class Foundation and its partners have been working to develop a National Action Framework, convening strategic discussions and establishing a unified student housing voice to inform and influence policy. Building on this momentum, the Spanish Forum will be held in the capital city of Madrid, bringing together public and private stakeholders to discuss the state of student living and align local and EU policy with institutional and investor priorities.

Student Living Spain 2026 will convene leaders from across the student living ecosystem to address one of Spain’s most urgent sector challenges: how to match a growing and increasingly international higher education market with the right housing supply.
Hosted by The Class Foundation on 24 September 2026 at Micampus Wynwood in Madrid, the forum will combine market intelligence, policy insight and collaborative discussion to explore how Spain can deliver more accessible, high-quality and future-ready student accommodation.
The programme will bring together investors, operators, developers, higher education representatives and public-sector stakeholders through data-led sessions on investment, legal and fiscal frameworks, higher education trends and social impact. An interactive workshop and panel discussion will give participants the opportunity to identify shared barriers, test ideas and shape practical next steps for the sector.
Site tours and curated networking will further connect attendees with best-in-class student living examples and the organisations helping to define Spain’s next phase of growth.
