All-inclusive energy as strategy in PBSA and coliving: essential or expendable?
Urban Living News
For those working in PBSA, coliving or BTR who are still confidently stating that “utilities are included” without a moment’s hesitation, this webinar may be worth a closer look. Urban Living News is hosting the webinar “All-inclusive energy as strategy in PBSA and coliving: essential or expendable?”.
Energy used to be a line item that could more or less be predicted. Now it is volatile, politically charged, ESG-linked and highly visible to investors. Yet many operators are still running all-inclusive models designed for a very different energy landscape. The big question is whether this still makes strategic sense, or whether NOI is being quietly eroded while hoping no one looks too closely.
On 12 February from 11:00–12:00 GMT, the session will unpack what is really happening behind the scenes - from the hidden costs of “all-in” models and the behavioural realities of Fair Use policies, to how smarter metering and better data can protect margins and reduce emissions at the same time.
It will also explore whether resident’s expectations are shifting, and how utility models need to evolve to stay aligned with ESG requirements and investor reporting pressures.
Attendance is free and particularly relevant for those responsible for operations, asset management, investment strategy, compliance, or resident engagement in PBSA, coliving or BTR.
