Erik Volkers is a Development Director in the Development Team of Greystar Netherlands. Erik and his team contribute to the projects by creating value in the concept and design stage, structuring deals and procurement of construction and interior packages, with a focus on quality, ESG and project management to deliver projects with the right quality within budget and time. He has broad experience in real estate development in residential, commercial and hospitality both in the Netherlands as well as abroad. Prior to joining Greystar in 2021, Erik lived and worked in the United Arab Emirates for 7 years where he worked on the development of world-class master plans and high end residential and hotel towers for the Dubai Real Estate Corporation. Before moving to Dubai in 2014, Erik worked for Fakton, a Dutch financial and strategy consultant, specialised in financial services for real estate projects and area developments. Erik holds a MSc degree in Architecture, Urbanism and Building Sciences from the Delft University of Technology.
